PILATES.
Move your body to its full range capacity again.
Pilates is a system of exercises designed to increase flexibility, strengthen muscles, and improve core stability, posture and balance.
Pilates originated in the 1920’s as a form of rehabilitation for patients injured during the First World War. Joseph Pilate’s was the pioneer of the Pilate’s method. We incorporate modern knowledge of bio mechanics and functional anatomy with these original methods to deliver a whole body, low impact exercise and conditioning program.
NATUROPATHY.
The Natural healing.
Neuropathy
Naturopathy is an holistic medical system combining philosophy, principles and practice that use an array of natural therapies to support healing and maintain health. It is a medical system that not only treats acute and chronic conditions but also places a huge emphasis on health education and disease prevention.
Naturopaths aim to treat the underlying causes of illness and disease. The core principle of “the healing power of nature” guides the naturopath’s use of nutrition, herbal medicine, manual therapies, and lifestyle education and stress management strategies. In a nutshell, naturopaths seek out the causes of your health problems: how what’s going on inside your body relates to your diet, lifestyle, work and home environment. They then offer a range of natural treatments that may be based on lifestyle changes, exercise, herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation, and most importantly nutrition.

What Conditions do Naturopaths Treat?
Digestive and gut health is a major facet of naturopathy, as are skin conditions; menstrual problems; problems with energy levels and sleep; headaches and migraines; anti-ageing strategies and joint health; and mental health issues, such chronic stress, anxiety, and depression.
Aim of Naturopathy
- To educate the person to look after their own health.
- To support the body’s own healing abilities.
- To balance the body so that illness is less likely to occur in the future.
Assessment by a naturopath
A naturopath will want to know about your diet history, lifestyle, family background and environment, as well as the history of any illnesses.
Treatment by a naturopath
The goal of naturopathic medicine is to treat the whole person, which incorporates mind, body, and spirit. It also aims to heal the root causes of an illness – not just stop the symptoms. With this aim in mind a naturopath employs a range of non-invasive techniques, which include:
Nutritional advice.
- Herbal medicine to support the body
- Physical therapies – such as remedial and relaxation massage and functional alignment therapies such as Finch Therapy
- Stress management strategies and lifestyle coaching.
Advantages of Naturopathic Medicine

REMEDIAL MASSAGE.
Muscle and tendon restoration.
Remedial massage is an assessment and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in pain and injury management. The treatment may involve deep tissue work, stretches, release exercises or more likely a combination of all of them. Remedial massage is even more effective when combined with Finch Therapy because an initial Finch session will lessen muscle spasm and allow for improved relaxation of muscle groups during a massage session.
